There is no such thing as reward and punishment for believing and not believing.  It is just a belief statement.  I believe in God and I believe I am a subset of God.  It is a statement.

If there is God, then this God is fair.  I[t] (If) there is no God then everything is just a big fat joke.  Therefore, I refuse to believe there is no God.

However, I don't deny the possibility that there is no God.  Alas, while I am alive, let me entertain the idea that there is God.

Note:  I said while I am alive.  When I am dead, nothing matters.  It might as well be lights out.  However i[t] (if) there is Life After Death, then that will be the greatest adventure ever.  I subscribe to the Apple and No Apple mentality.

We cross the bridge when we get there.  Until then, I CHOOSE to live my life thinking that there is a God.  What's the point of saying there is no God, now?  What's the point of saying there is no Santa Clause?  A whole industry was created around the concept.

The same thing with God.  I understand the concept of the Golden Apple and the Apple Tree.  It is indeed a strange illusion to think that they are mutually exclusive.

So I gain comfort in believing that God and I are one.  When I look at my life I said, "Aaah...  So this is the life of a God.  Not just any god but a Great God who fought Iblis and won!"

Sure, I have the bragging rights, but the truth is, there is no Iblis and there is no Intervening God.  I made the story up via my imagination.  For that, I claim intellectual rights.  Thus it is up to me to hatch the story as I deem fit.

 I tell you something.  One mentally ill person with astounding intellectual rights is Muhammad.  You can bet your bottom dollar that he is getting his 72 virgins.  One billion people are suckered into believing his tall stories.

I believe in my tall stories.  Therefore, my tall stories are true to me.  Whether you believe in it is your business.  As for me, at the point of inception, I believe in them 100%.  Now, I would say all these are the product of my imagination.  For all you know, they are merely fiction.
